- Contest is open to 7th-12th grade teachers who meet the eligibility requirements ( found on contest guidelines each year). Teachers can nominate themselves or someone else in the district may nominate them.
- Fill out the entry form and have it signed by the chairman of the local conservation district (found on contest guidelines each year).
- Submit a typewritten narrative which addresses the five items under ” Content of Narrative” (found on contest guidelines each year).
- Send entry form , narrative, and all supporting materials in a one-inch three-ring binder to the state for judging by the MACD information and education committee. All entries must be in the state office by the deadline (found on contest guidelines each year).
- The winner of the state will be recognized at the MACD winter meeting and will receive a $100 award.
