- Contest is open to 7th-12th grades
- Have students write essay reflecting the year’s theme ( found on contest guidelines sheet each year).
- A completed entry form must be attached ( found on contest guidelines each year).
- Categories : 7th – 8th grade, 9th-10th grade, and 11th-12th grade.
- Essays should be a minimum of 300 words and a maximum of 500 words.
- Any legible form is acceptable.
- Local SWCD will form a committee to judge essays once all essays are reviewed. Winners will proceed to the area contest to be judged. Contact you MSWCC field representative for more information about area contest.
