About Me
Cindy Reid, District Technician with Lamar County Soil and Water Conservation District. I assist local landowners with conservation practices through NRCS and teach about conservation throughout the county. I spend my days at the USDA Service Center in Purvis, MS. The Lord gets me up in the morning with a willing attitude to tell people about Him and learn more about His creation. I am a wife, mother, and nana. I love spending time with my family, we may be working on the farm, playing with animals, fishing, camping, swimming, hunting or just hanging out at home, but my family is so loved and cherished, and I thank God for them daily. The Lord has allowed our family to be in the ministry by helping others. We do lots of work with the sick, elderly, homeless, house fires, floods, and natural disaster relief (hurricanes and tornados) in our area, it is a blessing and I’m so thankful to be able to serve our area.
