FREE RESOURCES OFFERED:
A Lending Library and in Person Programs are available. We will even DROP OFF AND PICK UP our materials for local teachers, schools,& other organizations. You are welcome to stop by any time and see our inventory. We are located in the USDA building, 235 Hwy 589 Purvis, MS, 39475. I will be glad to meet you here if you cannot make it during the office hours, 8 am to 4:30 pm. I do have a list of materials I will be glad to email you as well. lisabatsonbrowning@gmail.com
All lessons are linked to state standards and can be modified for any age group. This is also for any homeschool groups in our area. Our goal is to enhance lessons for all students Lamar County with materials to make teaching easier and more effective. We know your funds and time are limited. We are simply another tool in your education tool box.
Lessons are being uploaded in the TEACHER tab for you to see what we have to offer. Lessons include hands on activities, examples, books, articles, and great websites and other recources. It is all organized in a tote for check out. All the necessary items are included for you. We hope this will help you teach your science/ nature curriculum as well as enhance any literature/history lesson with real life examples. You are welcome to check out the lesson box for up to 2 week with our Lending Library. This makes it quick and easy to get your science/ nature lessons planned and implemented throughout the year. We include many options and resources from local and national conservation education partners.
